Veteran right winger Colby Armstrong has taken his talents to Sweden. After eight seasons bouncing around the NHL, Armstrong has signed with the Swedish Hockey League's Vaxjo Lakers starting this fall, the former Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens forward announced Saturday via Twitter. Having been bought out by the Leafs last summer, and with no suitors as a free agent this off-season, the 30-year-old winger is going to try his luck in Europe. Armstrong was drafted 21st overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins at the 2001 NHL draft. He played for four NHL clubs -- the Penguins, Atlanta Thrashers, Leafs and Canadiens -- over a 476-game career, tallying a total of 209 points.
