Brian Rolston thought his career might be coming to an end when he was placed on waivers by the New York Islanders, but the veteran forward has changed his tune since being acquired by Boston. "I thought when I got to the Island that I'd have a little more responsibility than I did," he said. "But it didn't work out that way. Then all of a sudden it didn't look like I had anything. So to get this new opportunity has been great. I feel like I've taken advantage of the opportunity, and I feel great. It's been rejuvenating." He was traded to the Bruins shortly after he cleared through waivers and has played well with his team. Rolston notched three goals and 12 assists in 21 games with the Black and Gold after he produced just nine points over 49 contests with the Islanders.
