Quick was the first goalie off the ice at Friday's practice, putting him on track to start Saturday against the Canucks, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports. Since the Kings won't hold a morning skate ahead of the 4:00 ET puck drop Saturday, Quick likely won't be confirmed as the team's starter in goal until pregame warmups. Even so, it's hard to imagine the Kings turning away from their No. 1 netminder much the rest of the way, if at all. With Quick playing competently in his last several outings, he'll be used with a heavy hand as the Kings look to chase down one of the final two wild-card spots.
