Pavelec stopped 32 of 33 through 65 minutes of action, then two of three in the shootout to come away with a 2-1 victory against the Blues on Thursday. A big victory for Pavelec and the Jets, coming as it did against the currently second-seeded Blues, whom Winnipeg could very well face in the first round of the playoffs. Pavelec's now started three straight games, winning all three while allowing a grand total of four goals. He's playing some of his best hockey at a point in time when his team needs it the most.
