Pavelec made 38 saves on 40 shots in Tuesday's 5-2 victory over San Jose. A sparkling outing for Pavelec, and a reminder of just what he's capable of doing when things are going right. But despite Pavelec's strong showing in his last four games (two starts), he remains wildly inconsistent, and his mediocre season stats reflect that.
