Faulk scored his 13th goal and handed out two power-play assists Tuesday, but it wasn't enough in a 4-3 shootout loss to Columbus. Maybe the 'Canes should have used their young stud blueliner in the shootout, as they went 0-for-3 against the Jackets' Sergei Bobrovsky. He's been one of the brightest spots for the Hurricanes this year, as Faulk has an outstanding 44 points, including 18 power-play points, in 65 games. But he's been particularly good lately, with three goals and five assists in his last seven contests.
