Veillux was assigned to AHL Iowa on Monday, Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Veillux was placed on waivers Friday, but remained with the team briefly before being sent back Monday. His assignment will give the Wild roster space should they choose to make a move before the trade deadline.
