Coburn (lower body) skated on his own prior to Wednesday's practice, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Coburn isn't close to a return just yet, but his presence on the ice represents a sign of improvement. The blueliner, who has been out since Jan. 12 with a suspected broken foot, is projected to return at some point next week if he's able to resume practicing with the team.
