Elliott will start Thursday's game against the Predators and Saturday's game against the Capitals, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Though the Blues will have enjoyed a 10-day break in between games when they return to the ice Thursday, they'll still be forced to play three games in a four-day stretch. As a result, Elliott will be rested Friday in favor of Jake Allen for a cushy outing against the porous Hurricanes, but make no mistake; he's still the Blues' clear-cut top goalie. With a 1.86 GAA and .930 save percentage over 22 games this season, Elliott will make for an elite option nearly any time he assumes the crease.
