Wideman picked up an assist in Friday's 6-5 loss to the Panthers. Finally, it appears the momentum of Wideman's ridiculously hot start to the season is finally losing some momentum. After potting 10 goals over his first 26 games, Wideman's shooting percentage has regressed, as he hasn't found the net since Dec. 4. He's not been a total liability in the assist department during that goal dry spell, but nonetheless, what once seemed to be a surefire 40-point season is no longer a given.
