Potter was reassigned to AHL Adirondack on Wednesday, Scott Cruickshank of the Calgary Herald reports. Potter had yet to log a single appearance with the Flames this season across two different stints. With no indication that he'd break into the lineup in the near future, the Flames elected to send him back to the minors, where he'll be able to pick up some more consistent ice time.
