Thornton (shoulder) is doubtful for Monday's game against the Jets, but is expected to play at some point during the Sharks' road trip, Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area reports. Thornton left Wednesday's game against the Ducks midway through the first period and didn't return. He was expected to return Saturday, but it looks as though the injury will cost him a minimum of two games. His next chance to return to the lineup will come Tuesday against the Wild.
