Ekman-Larsson scored the Coyotes' lone goal, his eighth goal of the season, on the power play Monday in a blowout loss to the Canucks. He was minus-1, with two PIM, four shots, and a hit in the loss. Ekman-Larsson doesn't have the overall point total (16 points in 33 games) some were expecting at this point in the season, but his eight goals rank tied for fifth among defensemen and he has a healthy nine points on the power play. He remains one of the top young defensemen in the NHL.
