Hamhuis (leg/groin) was on the ice prior to Saturday's morning skate, Elliott Pap of the Vancouver Sun reports. Hamhuis wasn't wearing his full gear during the skating session, so it wouldn't seem that he's particularly close to a return just yet. The blueliner has been sidelined since Nov. 20 with the leg injury.
