Backstrom allowed three goals on 25 shots in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Bruins. The veteran netminder has been seeing lots of ice time lately with Darcy Kuemper (illness) out, but he hasn't been very impressive. Backstrom has allowed 14 goals over his last four starts, and figures to be the backup once again when Kuemper returns.
