Myers recorded an assist and spent two minutes in the penalty box in Monday's win over the Senators. Myers saw a season-high 31:09 of ice time in the shootout victory, bringing his average TOI up to 25:39 for the year, which would mark a career high. Despite the ample minutes, Myers isn't close to flashing the scoring ability he showed as a rookie in 2009-10, nor last season. A two percent shooting mark likely has much to do with his absence of goals, but it still seems unlikely that Myers will cash in on the immense promise he displayed just a few years earlier.
