Brown suffered a lower-body injury in Tuesday's win over the Oilers, with coach Todd McLellan saying after the game that the winger would be "out for a while," Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area reports. Brown needed assistance off the ice after laying a hit on the Oilers' Matt Hendricks, as it didn't look like he was capable of putting much weight on his right leg. The Sharks should have a more formal update on the fourth-liner's status Wednesday, but it looks like he could be headed for his second trip to injured reserve. He has suited up for just eight games this season.
