After posting shutouts in his previous three outings against the Sabres dating back to his day in Vancouver, Luongo allowed a second-period tally to Drew Stafford to end the Sabres' scoreless streak against him at 214 minutes and 21 seconds. The second period would be the only point in Saturday's start that Luongo would experience any turbulence, as he stopped all 19 of the shots he faced in the first and third periods.
