Byfuglien was highly productive in his move back to defense Friday against the Avalanche, finishing with a goal, five shots, four hits and a plus-2 rating over 26:24 of ice time. Byfuglien had already been playing productively of late with goals in each of his previous two games, and he didn't miss a beat in his transition from wing Friday. With Tobias Enstrom and Zach Bogosian both slated for long absences, look for Byfuglien to remain on defense for at least a couple of weeks.
