Backes scored his seventh goal of the season Saturday in a win over the Wild. He was plus-1 and took two shots, added two hits and two blocked shots. Backes has struggled to get untracked offensively this season, but he scored twice and has eight shots on net in his last four games. Hopefully this is a sign he is getting in the swing of things.
