Atkinson scored the game winner on the power play in Saturday's 2-1 victory over the Sharks. He picked up a rebound and slammed it into a wide-open crease. He has 10 points in 16 games, but has been doing it the hard way -- he only has one game with two points. The diminutive winger has struggled since his hot start (five points in his first four games), but the return of linemate Booner Jenner should buy Atkinson time and space to wield his offensive magic. He could be a good waiver grab as a result.
