Kassian (leg) skated as an extra at Friday's morning skate, suggesting he won't make his return to ice in the evening against the Coyotes. Kassian will miss his fifth straight contest with the injury, but the fact that he was able to resume practicing Thursday provides hope that he might not be too far off of a return. The winger was moved to injured reserve over the past weekend, so the Canucks would have to make a roster move in order to facilitate his return to the lineup once he's ready to go.
