Bourque has been placed on waivers by the Habs, Renaud Lavoie of le Journal de Montreal reports. Further reports indicate that if Bourque is not claimed by another team by midday Monday, he will be sent down to the AHL. So far this season, Bourque has just two assists and zero goals in 13 games, which leaves little doubt as to why he was waived by the Habs.
