Coburn (foot) will be activated from injured reserve and play Saturday against the Avalanche, Rob Parent of the Delaware County Times reports. Coburn had been expected to return to the lineup Saturday all along, but coach Craig Berube just wanted to check the blueliner out during morning skate before signing off on his return. After enduring no setbacks during the session, Coburn will rejoin the lineup for the first time since the Oct. 8 season opener, with Carlo Colaiacovo heading to the press box.
