Purcell dished out a pair of assists in Friday's win over the Sabres. Purcell had gone six games without recording a point, before breaking out for a two-point outburst Friday. Skating on the third line, the 29-year old has managed only four points in his last 12 games. While he does have seven points on the season, his limited ice time and minus-9 rating make him worth a look in only deeper leagues.
