Stone nabbed his first goal in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Capitals. The 24-year-old Stone doesn't have the same kind of offensive ability as fellow blueliners Keith Yandle and Oliver Ekman-Larsson, but with an average of two shots per game over 11 contests, he doesn't fit the mold of a stay-at-home defenseman, either. He compiled 21 points in 70 games last season, and wouldn't be surprised if he bested that production in 2014-15.
