With Zdeno Chara out, Seidenberg joined Dougie Hamilton on the Bruins' top defensive pairing in Friday's practice, the Boston Globe reports. Seidenberg, who is bouncing back from surgery that he underwent in early January to repair an ACL/MCL injury, is slowly rounding into form and with Chara out 4-6 weeks, he'll be counted on heavily to provide a shut-down presence in the coming weeks. That said, in his role as a rugged and defensively-sound defenseman for the B's, he's not likely to be much of a fantasy factor. To date, Seidenberg has yet to record a point in nine games.
