Kings coach Darryl Sutter called Jeff Carter the "perfect role model" for young linemates Tanner Pearson and Tyler Toffoli. He has morphed into a strong two-way player in Los Angeles and Sutter praised him for his reliability. Carter doesn't score at the same rate as he did in Philadelphia, but he's a much more well-rounded player now and he can still contribute strong numbers.
