Daniel Alfredsson isn't expected to make a decision on his playing future until later this month. He should have a decision in place before the start of free agency in July. If he doesn't retire and the money makes sense then he could be back with the Detroit Red Wings for the 2014-15 campaign. There is mutual interest to have him return for anther season, but GM Ken Holland hasn't spoken with him yet.
