Ryan Ellis scored the overtime winner to lead Canada to a 3-2 victory over Sweden. The win gives Canada first place in their division heading into the quarter-finals of the World Championship. They are tied in the standings with Sweden but will take first place due to the win. Brayden Schenn and Kevin Bieksa also scored for Canada who were down 2-0. Linus Klasen and Joakim Lindstrom gave the Swedes the 2-0 lead.
