Danny Briere was a warrior for the Habs in their Game 7 battle with the Bruins on Wednesday night, assisting on Montreal's opening goal and scoring the Habs' insurance marker in the team's 3-1 win over Boston. Briere was a healthy scratch in Game 5, but responded in a big way when it really mattered. His cross-ice feed to Dale Weise gave the Habs an early lead, and power play goal late in the third put the nail in the coffin for the once mighty Bruins. Briere has two goals and six points in 10 post season games.
