Moeaki was cut by the Bears on Saturday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
The roster move comes as a bit of a surprise, as after a solid preseason, Moeaki was expected to be the backup tight end behind Zach Miller. Rob Housler and Khari Lee will likely be fighting for that spot now.

Moeaki (hamstring) caught his only pass target for six yards Saturday against the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Moeaki caught his pass with the first-team offense on the first drive of the third quarter. Based on his usage over the last two weeks, he appears on track to be Zach Miller's backup as the team's primary receiving option at tight end.

Moeaki suffered a left hamstring injury during Thursday's preseason game against the Patriots, WGN Radio's Adam Hoge reports.
EDGE Analysis
The hamstring issue marred an otherwise solid night for the oft-injured Moeaki, who caught four passes for 28 yards on five targets while filling in for Zach Miller (concussion). Assuming the injury isn't too serious, Moeaki seems to be ahead of Khari Lee in the battle for the No. 2 tight end job.

Moeaki was signed by the Bears on Thursday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moeaki spent the latter portion of the 2015 season as a member of the Falcons, but never saw much action as he recorded just three catches for 58 yards and a touchdown on five targets throughout 11 games. Moeaki doesn't present much fantasy value at this point with fellow tight ends Zach Miller, Khari Lee, and Rob Housler on the Bears' roster as well.

Moeaki saved his best game for the final game of the season, catching two balls for 47 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
Heading into the game, Moeaki had only caught one ball for 11 yards in 11 games with the Falcons. He was signed after Jacob Tamme suffered a concussion, but Tamme returned to the lineup and Moaeki was basically used as a blocker when he saw game action. He'll be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and he may look for a new home as Tamme is still under contract for another year.

Moeaki was signed by the Falcons on Tuesday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Jacob Tamme (concussion) still recovering in the wake of a Week 4 absence, Moeaki could serve as the No. 2 tight end behind Levine Toilolo in Sunday's game against the Redskins. A third-round draft pick back in 2010, Moeaki has struggled with injuries throughout his career, and he no longer possesses the high-end athleticism he had upon entering the league.

Moeaki was released by the Falcons on Saturday, ESPN's Adam Caplan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although Jacob Tamme (back) is a bit nicked up, the Falcons opted not to keep Moeaki around. Once viewed as a high-end talent who simply couldn't stay healthy, Moeaki no longer boasts the excellent athleticism that made him a breakout candidate a few years back.

The Falcons have signed Moeaki, the team's official site reports. Moeaki further bolsters the Falcons' depth at tight end, after the team also added Jacob Tamme earlier on Thursday. Following a season in which Moeaki recorded just eight catches for 134 yards and one touchdown in six games for Seattle, however, the 27-year-old has much to prove before entering the fantasy lineup discussion.

Moeaki (calf) is listed as active for Sunday's NFC Championship game against the Packers. Moeaki is available if you need him as a fantasy dart on Sunday, but Luke Willson probably represents the upside play among Seattle's tight ends this weekend.
