Evan Moore (back) has been downgraded to out for Week 17 versus the Giants. Brent Celek is the starter, but Emil Igwenagu will back him up on Sunday. The Eagles have TE Derek Carrier on the practice squad as an option. Moore played in just one game for Philadelphia after being signed prior to Week 16. He'll end the season with one catch for six yards after appearing in 14 games with the Seahawks.

Evan Moore (back) was added to the Week 17 injury report and did not practice on Thursday. Moore was targeted twice in his Philadelphia debut last week and flat-out dropped a pass. He didn't make a good first impression. Moore is obviously the No. 2 tight end behind Brent Celek.

Eagles signed TE Evan Moore. Moore will fill the pass-catching specialist role behind Brent Celek with Clay Harbor (back) on injured reserve. The ex-Brown and Seahawk has consistently been underutilized during his four-year career, managing just 63 catches for 810 yards and five touchdowns. Moore will be looking to make an impression on a lame-duck regime.

CSN Philadelphia reports the Eagles will host free agent TE Evan Moore for a visit on Thursday, and sign him if he passes his physical. Moore was waived by the Seahawks on Tuesday. Moore has always been a well-regarded talent as a pass catcher, but two weeks shy of his 27th birthday, injuries have helped limit him to just 63 career catches in four seasons. He's likely being brought in to compete for a roster spot in 2013, but he could fall out of the Eagles' plans depending on Andy Reid's fate.

Seahawks waived TE Evan Moore. Moore had just one reception in 14 games after signing a one-year, $1 million contract in September. The Seahawks recently worked out veteran Visanthe Shiancoe and may view him as Moore's replacement.

Browns waived TE Evan Moore. Moore caught a career high 34 passes for 324 yards and four touchdowns last season, but was still buried behind Ben Watson, Jordan Cameron and Alex Smith on the depth chart, and due an untenable $1.87 million. The former undrafted has legit pass-catching skills, and should find a new home before Week 1.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer believes Browns TE Evan Moore's roster spot is in danger. Moore is behind all three of Ben Watson, Jordan Cameron and Alex Smith, and is hurt by his non-guaranteed $1.87 million salary. The fifth-year pro missed time early in camp with a hamstring injury, but has appeared in both preseason games, making three catches for 38 yards. He'd do well to stand out against the Eagles on Friday. A highly-talented pass catcher, Moore would likely be able to latch on elsewhere if handed his walking paper.

Evan Moore is currently fourth on the Browns' depth chart at tight end. Moore missed the first week of camp with an undisclosed injury, allowing Jordan Cameron and Alex Smith the depth chart. With an impressive start to camp, the athletic Cameron isn't likely to cede the No. 2 spot the rest of the month.
