Mack was released by the Texans on Tuesday, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports. Mack, who appeared in eight game with the Texans this season, was released to open a roster spot for Zac Diles.

He was tackled and took an inadvertent knee to the back of the head from his own teammate. Mack is the third corner for New Orleans. He was replaced in the lineup by Johnny Patrick.
