Stacy was traded from the Rams to the Jets in exchange for the 224th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, Albert Breer of NFL Network reports. Stacy requested a trade following the Rams' first-round selection of Todd Gurley on Thursday, so it's not a big surprise that the deal was made. However, he'll move to a team in the Jets that boasts the likes of Chris Ivory and Stevan Ridley in the backfield as well, leaving Stacy's role up in the air once again. He should be given a fair shake with his new club, so a strong training camp could lead to some regular season carries, but there's no guarantees at this point.

Stacy has requested a trade after the Rams drafted Todd Gurley in the first round of the 2015 draft and the team is open to dealing him, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Stacy's fantasy value takes a major hit if he stays in St. Louis with the Rams likely to make Gurley their main back and Tre Mason still on the roster. Perhaps Stacy could be on the move later in the NFL draft.

In losing his starting job a month into 2014, Stacy recorded only 36 yards in the final two months of the season. Stacy may have been the biggest fantasy disappointment in 2014, going from first- or second-round pick to 293 yards and one touchdown on the season. After a rather pedestrian start to the year, Benny Cunningham and Tre Mason passed Stacy on the depth chart and he saw limited carries -- if any -- in November and December. His terrific rookie year appears miles away at this point, and he may hope to rejuvenate his career elsewhere before too much longer.

Stacy carried the ball seven times for 25 yards in a 52-0 romp over Oakland on Sunday. The carries were Stacy's first since the end of October, as he has lost his starting job. With Tre Mason continuing to impress and Benny Cunningham still in the mix, Stacy's fantasy value is slim.

Stacy did not have a single carry or reception in a 13-10 win over San Francisco on Sunday. There may not be a bigger fantasy bust this season than Stacy, who has apparently lost his starting job completely. Unless Tre Mason or Benny Cunningham gets hurt, Stacy has no value, so it may be time to cut bait with the second-year player.

Stacy had five carries for 17 rushing yards and three catches on four targets for 20 receiving yards Sunday against the Chiefs. After playing only one offensive snap in Week 7 against the Seahawks, Stacy's eight total touches Sunday were the same as Tre Mason and three more than Benny Cunningham. The Rams scored a touchdown on their opening drive and then never scored again, doing so little offensively that none of the three running backs could get into any kind of rhythm. Making the running game situation even cloudier, the Rams lost center Scott Wells to an elbow injury, tackle Jake long to a knee injury and guard Rodger Saffold to a shoulder injury. None of it should give fantasy owners any confidence of playing Stacy in Week 9 against a 49ers defense ranked fifth in rushing-yards allowed per game this season.

Stacy (ankle) did not have a single carry nor a single target in Sunday's win over the Seahawks. Offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer said earlier this week that he wanted to split carries between Stacy, Tre Mason and Benny Cunningham, but it didn't come close to happening Sunday, as Stacy put up a donut while Mason ran 18 times for 85 yards and a touchdown and Cunningham had five catches for 46 yards and a touchdown himself. Stacy appears to be the odd-man out, and as long as Mason and Cunningham are healthy, there is very little fantasy upside to be had.

Stacy (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. While Stacy is healthy, he will battle for touches with Benny Cunningham and Tre Mason, who continue to syphon carries away, which limits his fantasy value. In addition, he'll face off against the sixth-ranked run defense that is allowing just 82.2 rushing yards per game this season.

Stacy (ankle) is probable for Sunday's game against Seattle, St. Louis Post-Dispatch writer Jim Thomas reports. Stacy's health doesn't appear to be an issue to any noteworthy extent, but his value is at a low point due to Benny Cunningham and rookie third-round pick Tre Mason stealing more snaps than ever. When you pair that fact with the matchup against a Seattle squad that figures to be in a bad mood, it's hard to see many scenarios where Stacy might produce near the level his owners hoped for heading into the year.

Stacy (ankle) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Stacy's full practice Thursday is a good indicator that he'll be ready to play Sunday against Seattle, but his low workload in St. Louis' last game (Stacy played just 25 snaps against the 49ers) is concerning, especially after coach Jeff Fisher said that Stacy's snap count was not impacted by the ankle injury. The Rams may be moving towards more of a committee approach featuring Stacy, Tre Mason and Benny Cunningham.
