Hilton is expected to miss multiple weeks with an unspecified injury suffered in Wednesday's practice, Stephen Holder of The Athletic reports. Hilton is being evaluated for an upper back/neck injury, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Details on Hilton's injury are not clear, but it looks like he's going to miss at least Week 1 of the regular season and likely much more. Michael Pittman will have a larger profile in the passing game with Hilton out, while Parris Campbell likely will see more playing time along with Zach Pascal. The Colts have a deep receiving corps with Mike Strachan and Dezmon Patmon having strong preseasons and three tight ends with strong receiving skills, so the targets in the offense could be spread out and in flux early in the season with Hilton out.

Hilton will likely sit out Indianapolis' preseason game against Minnesota on Saturday, ESPN.com's Mike Wells reports.
EDGE Analysis
A time-tested veteran like Hilton doesn't need preseason reps to ready himself for the regular season, so the Colts will instead use this game as an opportunity to give more run to Michael Pittman, Parris Campbell and Zach Pascal.

Hilton has had a quiet start to training camp as he has struggled to connect with quarterback Jacob Eason, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 ESPN Indianapolis reports. "It's going to take time. But we are going to continue to work, and work," Hilton said.
EDGE Analysis
With Carson Wentz out 5 to 12 weeks after foot surgery, Eason has taken over as the primary quarterback during training camp and most reviews from reporters so far have the passing offense struggling. Eason and Hilton hadn't worked with each other in practice before this training camp, so it doesn't sound like there's much chemistry early on. If Wentz isn't back before Week 1, Hilton's fantasy value could see a sharp decline.

Hilton agreed Wednesday with the Colts on a one-year, $10 million contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hilton will stay in Indianapolis for at least one more season, catching passes from Carson Wentz after one season of working with Philip Rivers. Each of Hilton's five 1,000-yard seasons came with Andrew Luck under center, but the 31-year-old wideout at least played well over the final six weeks of the 2020 regular season, catching 27 passes for 435 yards and five touchdowns. Hilton won't necessarily see an uptick on last year's average of 6.2 targets per game, but the contract makes it clear the Colts still view him as a reliable starter.

Colts owner/CEO Jim Irsay said he wants to keep Hilton in Indianapolis, Zak Keefer of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
While he averaged just 50.1 and 50.8 receiving yards per game the past two seasons, Hilton did have a surge of production late in the 2020 campaign, putting up 27/435/5 over the final six weeks. Now scheduled for unrestricted free agency, the 31-year-old wideout has already expressed a desire to re-sign with the Colts, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll take a hometown discount. There should be at least a handful of teams that view Hilton as a potential upgrade for their second or third WR spot.

Hilton caught two of five passes for 32 yards in Saturday's 27-24 wild-card round loss to the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
After a strong finish to the regular season, Hilton failed to get much separation against shutdown cornerback Tre'Davious White, tying for fifth on the Colts in receiving yards. The 31-year-old wide receiver will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Hilton secured three of seven targets for 27 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' 28-14 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran speedster wasn't able to make much of an impact on the stat sheet on an afternoon when Jonathan Taylor's 253 rushing yards spearheaded the offensive attack, but Hilton salvaged his fantasy line by notching a six-yard scoring grab to cap off the Colts' first drive of the game. The 31-year-old frequently put together pedestrian performances over the first nine games of the season, but he picked up the pace nicely in the last six contests with a 23-354-4 line. Hilton will now look to continue making his presence in the air attack felt versus the Bills in a road wild-card matchup next weekend.

Hilton caught three of seven targets for 60 yards during Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Steelers.
EDGE Analysis
Hilton led the team in targets but struggled to connect with Philip Rivers on several occasions. He made the most of his catches, however, as his average of 20.0 yards per catch was his second-best of the season. While Hilton's production isn't always flashy, he's quietly recorded at least 60 yards in five straight games and has averaged more than 17.0 yards per catch in four of those. He will look to finish the regular season on a high note in next Sunday's favorable matchup against the Jaguars.

Hilton recorded four receptions on six targets for 71 yards in Week 15 against the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Hilton had logged only three receptions for 30 yards with three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. However, he nearly turned his performance around with one play when he hauled in a 41-yard catch that carried him three yards shy of the end zone. Even with the mediocre performance against an exploitable secondary, Hilton has had a 70-yard floor across his last four games. He'll now prepare for a Week 16 matchup against the Steelers.

Hilton caught five of seven targets for 86 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 44-27 win over the Raiders.
EDGE Analysis
Hilton got rolling with a seven-yard touchdown in the first quarter and struck again from 41 yards out in the second. He led the team in receiving yardage for the third straight week and is averaging 92.3 yards per game during that span, which is a huge improvement over his numbers from the first nine games. Hilton also has four touchdowns during that span and will look to keep up his prolific recent form next Sunday against a Texans defense that was just lit up for 36 points by a pedestrian Bears attack.
