Kelce (ankle) is listed as active for Thursday night's game against the Broncos.
EDGE Analysis
The Chiefs' star tight end played through a low right-ankle sprain this past Sunday against the Vikings en route to recording a 10-67-1 receiving line, and he'll continue to play through the issue versus Denver with his ankle heavily taped, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. In the absence of any in-game limitations or setbacks, Kelce -- who has caught 27 of his 37 targets for 222 yards and three TDs in four games to date -- should continue to maintain his key role in Kansas City's offense, with Noah Gray and Blake Bell available to handle complementary TE snaps for the team.

Kelce (ankle) is expected to play Thursday against the Broncos, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Per Schefter, Kelce -- who remains listed as questionable for the contest -- is expected to play with his right ankle heavily taped. Official confirmation of the star tight end's status for Thursday's contest will arrive when the Chiefs post their inactive list approximately 90 minutes ahead of the game's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.

Kelce (ankle) is trending upward, and the tight end should be able to play Thursday against the Broncos, barring a pregame setback, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kelce is listed as questionable for the contest after going down as a limited participant on practice reports issued Tuesday and Wednesday. Kansas City's top pass catcher sustained a low-ankle sprain this past Sunday against Minnesota, but he returned to the game and finished with a 10-67-1 line on 11 targets. He appears set to continue playing through the injury Thursday, though official confirmation of his status won't arrive until the Chiefs post their inactive list approximately 90 minutes prior to the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.

Kelce (ankle) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against Denver.
EDGE Analysis
Kelce played through a low-ankle sprain Sunday in Minnesota en route to a 10-67-1 receiving line, but that doesn't automatically mean he'll be able to do so again four days later. He practiced Tuesday in a limited capacity, with reporters who observed the session noting that his right ankle was heavily taped. If Kelce ends up inactive Thursday, Noah Gray will take on a lot of Kelce's usual snaps and routes, albeit without the certainty of target volume the eight-time Pro Bowler receives when on the field. Other potential beneficiaries in terms of additional routes and targets include tight end Blake Bell and nearly all of the team's wide receivers.

Kelce (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Prior to Tuesday's session, coach Andy Reid told Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site that Kelce was slated to take part in drills. During the media-access portion, Kelce was spotted with a heavy tape job on the sprained right ankle that he sustained Sunday at Minnesota. He was able to play through the issue en route to 10 catches (on 11 targets) for 67 yards and one touchdown, but it remains to be seen if he can put himself in a position to suit up Thursday against the Broncos. Wednesday's injury report will unveil whether or not Kelce has a designation ahead of that contest.

Coach Andy Reid said Tuesday that Kelce (ankle) is in line to practice Tuesday, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
In the wake of Sunday's win at Minnesota, it was revealed that the injury that knocked Kelce out for a spell was a low-ankle sprain. He was able to play through it with his right foot heavily taped and even recorded a touchdown among his 10-catch, 67-yard performance on 11 targets. With a short week to prepare for Thursday's matchup with the Broncos, the Chiefs didn't hold practice Monday but were required to post an injury report, which estimated Kelce as a non-participant. It appears the tight end will be at least limited on Tuesday's version following Reid's comments.

Kelce (ankle) was listed as a non-participant on the Chiefs' estimated practice report Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Chiefs host the Broncos this Thursday night and were required to release an injury report. Kelce exited Sunday's Week 5 win over the Vikings late in the second quarter but was able to return after halftime with a heavy tape job on the affected ankle. With the quick turnaround this week, it could prove tough for Kelce to get back on the field three days from now. He's reportedly dealing with a low-ankle sprain. Noah Gray and Blake Bell again would handle tight end duties for Kansas City if Kelce is unable to play.

Kelce sustained a low right-ankle sprain during Sunday's 27-20 win at Minnesota, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. The tight end finished the game having caught 10 of 11 targets for 67 yards and one touchdown.
EDGE Analysis
After suffering a scary non-contact injury late in the first half, Kelce was checked out at halftime and wasn't allowed off the sideline until well into the third quarter, although not for lack of trying. He was finally able to rejoin his teammates with his right ankle heavily taped and didn't look worse for wear, snagging a four-yard touchdown grab at the 2:45 mark in the third for Kansas City's final points. With an injury in tow and a short week to prepare for Thursday's game against the Broncos, Kelce is a candidate to have practice limitations from Monday through Wednesday, but the fact that he seems to have avoided a high-ankle sprain or another more serious injury gives him a real chance at playing in Week 6.

Kelce (ankle) has returned to Sunday's matchup with the Vikings, Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kelce exited Sunday's contest late in the first half after suffering a non-contact right ankle injury, but he is back in the game. The tight end has caught six passes for 36 yards to this point. More information on his injury will likely come following the game.

Kelce officially is questionable to return to Sunday's game at Minnesota due to a right ankle injury.
EDGE Analysis
Kelce sustained a non-contact injury to his right ankle late in the second quarter and was seen limping badly on the sideline and to the locker room before halftime. He made his way back to the sideline to begin the third quarter with his right ankle heavily taped, but it remains to be seen if he'll reenter the contest. If Kelce is unable to do so, Noah Gray and Blake Bell will handle TE duties for the Chiefs.
