Davis (calf) is listed as doubtful for Monday's game against the Raiders, Zac Stevens of BSNDenver.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The linebacker didn't practice this week so it seems likely Davis will be unavailable Monday. Alexander Johnson and Corey Nelson will see more work at inside linebacker if Davis is eventually ruled out.

Davis (calf) didn't participate in Friday's practice, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis missed Thursday's practice as well. The 27-year-old has Saturday's session to get some work in, but for now his status for Monday's contest should obviously be considered questionable at best. Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reported that Davis didn't suffer a setback in his recovery from the calf injury he sustained July 18. If Davis can't suit up, Alexander Johnson and Corey Nelson seem like candidates to see more work at inside linebacker.

Davis (calf) "has a chance" to play Monday against the Raiders, according to head coach Vic Fangio.
EDGE Analysis
Davis spent Monday's practice working with trainers on the sidelines after going through team warmups. Linebacker Joseph Jones (tricep) is also not practicing in full yet, which could leave the Broncos slightly shorthanded at linebacker for the season opener. Look for more updates when their official injury report is released later in the week.

Davis (calf) expects to play in the regular-season opener against the Raiders, James Palmer of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis has been sidelined since suffering the calf injury at the start of training camp, but he's apparently not worried about missing regular-season action. Coach Vic Fangio indicated less optimism last week, but the veteran linebacker has apparently progressed well in his recovery. The 27-year-old is coming off a career-high 114 tackles (80 solo) in 16 games last season.

Coach Vic Fangio said Wednesday that "it's a possibility" Davis (calf) could sit out Denver's regular-season opener, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis is behind schedule in his recovery from a calf strain and is not expected to practice this week, according to Jhabvala. The starting linebacker initially suffered the injury in July during the first day of training camp practice. Alexander Johnson stands to slot into the starting lineup as long as Davis remains sidelined, with fellow backup Joseph Jones (triceps) also injured.

Davis (calf) could be held out for 3-to-4 weeks with his calf strain, Ryan O'Halloran of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis injured his calf Thursday and underwent an MRI that revealed a strain. Fortunately, he should be back prior to Week 1, assuming his recovery goes as planned. His injury will open up practice and preseason snaps for Keishawn Bierria and Joseph Jones.

Davis is slated to undergo an MRI on his calf, James Palmer of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
The linebacker limped off the field on the first day of training camp practice Thursday, but initial reports suggest that Davis merely tweaked his calf. His absence from practice should free up first-team reps for Joseph Jones or Keishawn Bierria.

Davis had 114 tackles, 0.5 sacks, seven passes defended and one interception across 16 games in 2018.
EDGE Analysis
Davis managed to return his sole interception for a touchdown. The 26-year-old elevated his play to a new level during his fifth NFL season, coming on as an anchor in Denver's stellar linebacker corps. Davis is signed with the Broncos through 2020, and look to maintain his quality play under new head coach Vic Fangio.

Davis recorded 10 tackles (nine solo) in Sunday's win over Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
Davis has recored 10 tackles in four of the Broncos' last six games. He's been one of the best players on Denver's defense lately as the team has won three-straight. Davis currently has 92 tackles on the season, five short of his career high, with four games left to play. He'll aim to maintain his quality play into a Week 14 matchup with the 49ers.
