Tiquan Underwood caught three passes for 64 yards in Week 10 against the Dolphins. Underwood was targeted five times and led the team in receiving. Stepping in as the new No. 2 receiver in Mike Williams' (hamstring) absence, Underwood has become the No. 3 option in the passing game. It's still not going to translate to big statistical outputs. Underwood is nothing more than a WR4/5.

Tiquan Underwood caught two passes for 29 yards and a touchdown in the Bucs' Week 9 loss to the Seahawks. Underwood's touchdown catch consisted of him running around in the back of the end zone and getting by Brandon Browner's coverage. He will not be a strong WR3 play when the Bucs host the Dolphins in Week 10.

Coach Greg Schiano confirmed Monday that Tiquan Underwood will be the Bucs' new No. 2 receiver opposite Vincent Jackson. Mike Williams was sent to I.R. with a hamstring tear. Underwood (6'1/183) has just four receptions for 53 yards on the season, rotating in Tampa's No. 3 receiver role with Chris Owusu. Owusu now figures to be the clear No. 3 wideout, although there is little fantasy appeal here behind target monster Vincent Jackson. Underwood is still worth owning in 14- and 16-team leagues because he's now an every-down player on a team that figures to trail a lot.

Tiquan Underwood caught three passes for 47 yards in Week 8 against the Panthers. Underwood was back in the No. 3 receiver role with Chris Owusu (foot) sidelined. He was only targeted four times in the passing game by Mike Glennon and got the majority of his yardage in the second half. Underwood has just four catches for 53 yards this season and remains off the fantasy radar.

The Bucs' No. 3 receiver job has been re-opened to competition. Tampa Bay signed Kevin Ogletree to a two-year deal in the spring, but he was cut last week. Tiquan Underwood was re-signed. He filled the No. 3 role last season but will face competition from Chris Owusu, Eric Page, Russell Shepard, and even Jeff Demps in the coming weeks. Coach Greg Schiano said all five of those guys will get an opportunity to run between Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams. Underwood caught just 28 passes as Tampa's No. 3 receiver last season, so obviously it's not a position that is going to be fantasy relevant.

Bucs will re-sign WR Tiquan Underwood. At training camp, Underwood lost the battle for No. 3 wideout duties to Kevin Ogletree. Ogletree was cut on Tuesday, opening a spot back up. Underwood posted a 28/425/2 line in 14 games for Tampa in 2012. He'll now battle practice squad callup Chris Owusu for snaps.

Buccaneers released WR Tiquan Underwood. 26-year-old Underwood got beaten out by Kevin Ogletree, and didn't offer enough special teams value to stay over return specialist Eric Page.

The Tampa Bay Times still considers Tiquan Underwood the favorite for the No. 3 receiver job. The Bucs have added both Kevin Ogletree and Steve Smith in free agency. But as the incumbent player with strong ties to head coach Greg Schiano, Underwood has a leg up. He posted a 28/425/2 line in 14 games last season.

Tiquan Underwood caught five of a team-high nine targets for a career-high 77 yards versus the Falcons in Week 12. Underwood had never seen more than six targets, three receptions, or 68 yards in a game. He was the primary beneficiary of Atlanta's plan to stack the box against Doug Martin and leave the seam open. The Bucs' No. 3 receiver is unworthy of a pickup even in deeper fantasy leagues.

Tiquan Underwood (probable, head) has been cleared to play in Week 12 against the Falcons. Underwood was injured on hit by Thomas Davis in the fourth quarter of last week's win over the Panthers and didn't return. His status for Sunday's game was never in question after he got in a full week of practice. Underwood could see an expanded role with Arrelious Benn (knee, shoulder) on injured reserve.
