Saints waived WR Tim Toone, LB Eric Martin and DB Akwasi Owusu-Ansah. Toone was signed as a camp body in late July. An undrafted free agent, Martin turned heads in practice before failing to impress once the game pads went on. Owusu-Ansah has reached journeyman status.
