West carried the ball 10 times for 50 yards and a score, while also hauling in all three of his targets for 18 yards and a touchdown against the Dolphins on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
West didn't see many touches Sunday, but the 25-year-old was able to make it count when he did and ended up having a very strong fantasy day. He averaged five yards per carry, found the end zone twice and was more active in the passing attack than he's been in previous contests. Backup running back Kenneth Dixon did get six carries of his own, but based on their snap totals, West is still the featured back in Baltimore.

West carried the ball 13 times for 48 yards and added 16 yards on three catches in Sunday's win over the Bengals.
EDGE Analysis
West seemed like he was heating up during a three-game stretch from Week 4 to Week 6, during which he averaged 108 total yards and scored three touchdowns. Now the only heat West is feeling is rookie Kenneth Dixon hot on his heels. This year's fourth-rounder has seen double-digit touches in three of the last four games and gathered more touches, 17 to 16, and yards, 80 to 64, than West on Sunday. Dixon deserves credit for the equaling, or even shifting, of power in Baltimore's offense - but West also isn't doing much to stop it. The bruising back has averaged just 2.9 yards per carry in the last five games since his Week 6 high mark.

West carried eight times for 42 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's game against the Cowboys. He added 11 yards while hauling in one of two targets in the 27-17 loss.
EDGE Analysis
West showed impressive burst on an 18-yard touchdown run in the first quarter but tied his season-low in attempts and wasn't afforded enough opportunities to be effective. Rookie Kenneth Dixon received six carries and gained 40 yards but suffered a similar fate as the Ravens all but abandoned the running game. Sunday's results were indicative of the recent trend in playing time, as West and Dixon split the workload somewhat evenly, with the former holding a slight advantage. Baltimore will need to reestablish itself as a running team in order to improve its current 5-5 record and the next opportunity will come next week against the Bengals.

West totaled 65 yards on 21 rushes and hauled in one of two targets for 12 yards in Thursday's 28-7 win over the Browns.
EDGE Analysis
West produced his best rushing total since Week 6 while receiving over 20 carries for the third time this season. He significantly out-touched the only other tailback to receive any carries, Kenneth Dixon, by 15 totes, although the rookie did manage a much more impressive 6.3 YPC. If Thursday's workload distribution is any indication, however, West remains the clear-cut lead back heading into a Week 11 tilt against the Cowboys.

West was held to 21 yards on 15 carries, and caught one of three targets for six yards Sunday against the Steelers
EDGE Analysis
West was bottled up by the Steelers front, and his inability to run the ball effectively down the stretch allowed Pittsburgh to turn a 21-0 fourth-quarter deficit into a narrow 21-14 defeat. Backup Kenneth Dixon got nine carries of his own, but managed only 13 yards and an identical 1.4 yards per carry. West is still the primary running back in Baltimore heading into Thursday's matchup with a much more generous Browns run defense.

West was not on the practice field for the team's final session before their bye week, Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
No injury has been reported, but West is coming off easily his worst performance of the season, as he carried the ball just eight times for a total of 10 yards. He should return with fresh legs for a favorable Week 9 matchup against the Steelers, a team allowing 4.7 yards per carry to opposing backs.

West rushed for 10 yards on eight carries in Sunday's loss to the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
With the Ravens passing it 79 percent of the time during Sunday's game, West was held to his worst game of the season - snapping a three-game streak of 85-plus-yards with three total touchdowns. West and the Ravens enter the bye with a ton of questions on offense. With a passing game failing to pass muster, look for them to get back to the basics and pound the rock with West in their showdown with a Steelers team that has been gutted by Jay Ajayi and LeGarrette Blount in recent weeks.

West had 23 carries for 87 yards and two touchdowns, adding four catches for 36 yards on six targets, in Sunday's 27-23 loss to the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Kenneth Dixon gained 12 yards on three touches, while Javorius Allen didn't get a single carry or target. West dominated the backfield work despite getting off to a slow start on the ground, ultimately finishing with a pair of goal-line touchdowns, in addition to season-high marks for carries, receptions and targets. He could've had an even bigger day, as he was stuffed on three goal-line tries at the end of a third-quarter drive, including on fourth down from the one-yard line. West may not dominate the workload to such an extent every week, but he's clearly the team's lead back, with a role that includes goal-line carries and at least a portion of the passing-down snaps. The only bad news is that he'll face a stiff Jets run defense in Week 7, and will then be on bye in Week 8.

West gained 95 yards on 11 carries and lost six yards on two receptions (three targets) in Sunday's 16-10 loss to Washington.
EDGE Analysis
West was the only real positive for the Baltimore offense, consistently picking up what was blocked and then some. However, he did cede four carries to Javorius Allen and three more to rookie Kenneth Dixon, who struggled in his NFL debut. The Ravens mixed their other two running backs in during the first half, but West seemed to dominate the workload after halftime, as it became apparent he was the team's best option. There is some concern Dixon could eventually push for a larger role, but West has seemingly assured himself of lead-back status for at least another few weeks. He'll have a tough Week 6 road matchup against the Giants, followed by another difficult draw in Week 7 at the same stadium versus the Jets.

West is expected to start at running back Sunday against Baltimore with Kenneth Dixon set to work as his backup, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
This isn't a surprise after Baltimore released Justin Forsett earlier in the week. While West will be the primary option, it will be interesting to see how many touches Dixon gets in his first week back from a knee injury. West's perch at the top of the depth chart could be precarious.
