Johnson (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Dontrelle Inman has also been ruled out for the contest, which sets the stage for the Chargers to roll with a Week 14 wideout corps headed by Malcom Floyd, with Javontee Herndon, Vincent Brown and Tyrell Williams also in the mix.

Johnson (groin) did not practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The same applies to Dontrelle Inman (neck), and if things don't look up for the duo by Sunday, then Malcom Floyd could be asked to see an expanded role in the Chargers' Week 14 offense, along with the likes of Javontee Herndon, Vincent Brown and Tyrell Williams.

Johnson (groin) did not practice Wednesday, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nor did Dontrelle Inman (neck), with the team's addition of fellow wideout Vincent Brown on Wednesday, perhaps an indicator that the Week 14 status of Johnson and/or Imnan could be cloudy.

Johnson was ruled out of Sunday's game against the Broncos due to a groin injury, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wide receivers continue to drop in San Diego, as Johnson followed Dontrelle Inman (neck) out of the game. Johnson wasn't on the receiving end of any of Philip Rivers' 35 throws, marking his first blank line of the season. With Johnson out of the lineup, the Chargers' receiving corps was composed of just Malcom Floyd and Javontee Herndon.

Johnson led the Chargers with seven receptions on 10 targets for 92 yards and a touchdown Sunday in Jacksonville.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson has really flourished in the absence of Keenan Allen (kidney), as he now has 21 receptions for 214 yards over the past three weeks. The veteran receiver should continue to get plenty of looks from quarterback Philip Rivers moving forward, but he may find it difficult to replicate his recent success next week against a stingy Broncos secondary.

Johnson caught 7-of-8 targets for 54 yards in Sunday's 33-3 blowout loss to the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson led the Chargers in receiving Sunday, and should continue to see a healthy number of targets, as the Chargers have already lost Keenan Allen (kidney) and possibly Malcolm Floyd (shoulder), who wasn't active in Week 11. Working out of the slot, Johnson isn't really suited to be the team's No. 1 option in the passing game, but it's unlikely that wideouts such as Dontrelle Inman and Javontree Herndon will be a major factor. The veteran Johnson could be in line for a solid game in Week 12, taking on a Jaguars' secondary that has had trouble against the pass in 2015.

Johnson caught a team-high seven passes (on 10 targets) for 68 yards in Monday's loss to the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson was left as San Diego's lone proven wideout after Malcom Floyd went down with a shoulder injury early in Monday's game. That allowed Johnson to register season-highs in both receptions and targets, while his 68 yards trailed only his Week 1 output of 82 yards through the air. Although the Chargers now enter a bye week to potentially return to health, Johnson could continue to benefit from San Diego's mostly depleted receiving options.

Johnson (shoulder) caught two of his four targets for 28 yards on Sunday at Baltimore.
EDGE Analysis
After missing two weeks earlier this season with a hamstring injury, Johnson has now played in back to back games but only managed six catches in those contests. For the year, he has 24 receptions for 283 yards and two touchdowns, but his best games were in Weeks 1 and 2. Johnson will look to get more involved next week against the Bears.

Johnson (back) returned to action after leaving the field for a short time Sunday against the Ravens, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tibune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Good news for the Chargers and their passing attack, as Johnson will give them an added receiving option against a Ravens defense that struggles to stop the pass.

Johnson (shoulder) is questionable to return Sunday against the Ravens.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson had one catch for 23 yards before leaving the game. In his absence, it's likely that Dontrelle Inman and Ladarius Green will see more targets in the middle of the field.
