Starks (toe) is not included on the Dolphins' inactive list ahead of Sunday's game against the Bills. Starks was sporting a walking boot earlier this week, but it appears that treatment will allow the defensive tackle to play in his 110th consecutive game Sunday.

Starks (foot) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Bills, the Dolphins' official site reports. As a result, Starks appears on track to play in his 110th consecutive game Sunday, which would bolster the Dolphins' chances of containing the Bills' ground game Sunday.

Dolphins re-signed DT Randy Starks to a two-year, $12 million contract. The Dolphins moved quickly on keeping Starks after losing Paul Soliai to the Falcons. A starter for the Dolphins since 2009, Starks remained both an effective run stopper and pass rusher last season. Although he's now 31, Starks has been highly durable. He hasn't missed a game since 2007.

The Miami Herald reports "many around the league" believe free agent DT Randy Starks is not a personality fit with coach Joe Philbin. Starks has yet to receive a contract offer from the Dolphins and is fully expected to leave Miami. He was a top-five defensive tackle in terms of stopping the run last year and should draw free agent interest despite his character concerns. With Paul Soliai also likely gone, Jared Odrick will be counted on for heavy snaps in 2014.

The Miami Herald reports the Dolphins haven't made contract offers to free agent DTs Randy Starks and Paul Soliai. Starks' agent says his client is "looking forward to moving on." The sides haven't spoken since the Combine. Soliai is also prepared to move on. "The dialogue between us and the Dolphins remains open and friendly but we are not negotiating anything right now," Soliai's rep said. Starks and Soliai can begin talking with other teams on Saturday.

The Miami Herald reports the Dolphins haven't made an offer to free agent DT Randy Starks, but could make one before the start of free agency. According to reporter Barry Jackson, the Dolphins would be "fine with Starks testing the market and coming back to them with a competing offer." The Herald reported earlier Monday that the Dolphins have also yet to make an offer to fellow free agent DT Paul Soliai, but are expected to do so before the start of free agency. New GM Dennis Hickey is moving slowly as he assesses his roster. Free agency begins two weeks from Tuesday.

The Miami Herald considers DT Randy Starks unlikely to give the Dolphins a discount in free agency after being forced to play under the franchise tag in 2013. According to reporter Armando Salguero, Starks was "somewhat peeved" playing under the one-year tender. Starks turned 30 in December, and will certainly be chasing every nickel in what will almost certainly be his final shot at a multi-year deal. Rotating with Paul Soliai and Jared Odrick, Starks notched 49 tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble this season. He hasn't missed a game since 2007.
