Coach Bill O'Brien relayed Monday that Washington is "day-to-day" with a hip issue that he sustained in Sunday's win over the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
More on that front should be known once the Texans return to practice on Wednesday, but as the team's playoff contest against the Chiefs on Saturday approaches, the status of both Washington and fellow wideout Cecil Shorts (hamstring) merit tracking.

Washington caught one of three targets for six yards in Sunday's 30-6 win over the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
Washington's best moments have occurred in games where Cecil Shorts has been sidelined -- all four of his touchdowns have happened in games Shorts has missed -- so it's a bit surprising how little Washington was targeted Sunday when Shorts (groin) was not available. Rookie Jaelen Strong (six catches, 56 yards) finished second behind DeAndre Hopkins in the receiving game. Still, the veteran Washington will bring a needed element when the playoffs open next week at home against the Chiefs.

Washington corralled 3-of-5 targets for 42 yards and a touchdown Sunday in Tennessee.
EDGE Analysis
The former Titan burned his former team with a 13-yard score in the third quarter, showing a decent rapport with new starting quarterback Brandon Weeden in a 34-6 blowout victory. While he clearly sits behind DeAndre Hopkins in the Texans' pecking order at wide receiver, Washington should get some looks against a porous Jaguars secondary as the Texans look to clinch a playoff berth next week.

Washington caught three of six targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 16-10 win over Indianapolis.
EDGE Analysis
Washington became the unquestioned number two option when Cecil Shorts left the game with a groin injury. While it didn't translate into a big game Sunday, Washington's been at his most productive when Shorts has been out of the lineup, something that could be the case in Week 16 against the Titans.

Washington had one catch on four targets for 49 yards in Sunday's loss to the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
Houston quarterback Brian Hoyer targeted a few deep balls for Washington, who had a couple in his hands before getting knocked out of his grasp by cornerback Malclom Butler.

Washington caught six of 11 targets for 44 yards in Sunday's 30-21 loss to the Bills.
EDGE Analysis
Washington is averaging just 33 yards per game since Cecil Shorts re-entered the active lineup four games ago.

Washington caught three passes off of four targets for 43 yards in Sunday's win over New Orleans.
EDGE Analysis
With Cecil Shorts out of the linup in Week 7 and Week 8, Washington caught a combined 13 passes for 201 yards and three touchdowns. He has caught eight passes for 88 yards and no scores in his three games since. DeAndre Hopkins has more than twice as many targets, catches, yards and touchdowns than any other Houston receiver this season. As Washington fights with Shorts over Hopkins' scraps, and manages to receive fewer of them in recent weeks, he should not be considered a legitimate fantasy starter.

Washington (hip) caught two of six targets for 13 yards in Sunday's win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Washington had a two-week run in which caught 13 balls, three touchdowns and gained over 200 yards, but has been limited to four catches for 45 yards the last two weeks. It should be noted that Washington's lean weeks coincided with Cecil Shorts returning to action. As Houston's quarterbacks have a full complement of wideout targets, Washington's role has been reduced.

Washington (hip) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Washington is out there it you need him Sunday, though with Cecil Shorts in the mix as well, and T.J. Yates starting at QB for the Texans, Washington looks like a hit or-miss Week 11 play, even if No. 1 wideout DeAndre Hopkins draws the attention of top cornerback Darrelle Revis.

Washington is listed as probable for Week 11 against the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Washington was a full participant at Friday's practice and will be ready to go Sunday when backup quarterback T.J. Yates will start for the Texans.
