Glennon is set to join Jacksonville's practice squad, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Jaguars released Glennon on Saturday, leaving only rookie sixth-round pick Jake Luton as a rostered backup to Garnder Minshew. Glennon stands to serve as an emergency insurance option for the team.

Glennon was released Saturday by the Jaguars, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
For the moment, Jacksonville has just rookie Jake Luton backing up Gardner Minshew, but the approach seems incredibly short-sighted especially with the possibility of unplanned absences popping up throughout a season. It wouldn't be surprising to see Glennon return to the Jaguars following a likely busy pickup period, but it's possible the veteran signal caller could have more value with another team looking for depth at the most critical of positions.

Glennon agreed to terms with the Jaguars on Friday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Jaguars add veteran depth at quarterback behind Gardner Minshew with the Glennon signing. Jacksonville had very little experience on the depth chart behind Minshew with only Joshua Dobbs and rookie project Jake Luton there before this signing. Glennon projects to be the top backup in Jacksonville but won't be in contention for the starting job in all likelihood.

Glennon completed six of 10 passes for 56 yards and one touchdown and fumbled three times -- losing one -- in two games this season.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran quarterback saw garbage-time action during blowout losses during Weeks 7 and 12, but he was replaced as the No. 2 quarterback by DeShone Kizer down the stretch. Glennon hasn't started a game since he was with the Bears in 2017, and he'll return to free agency in March in search of another backup job.

The Raiders bumped Glennon down to the No. 3 quarterback spot Thursday, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Glennon recently replaced Derek Carr in Week 12's blowout loss to the Jets, during which he completed 5 of 7 pass attempts for 20 yards. He also accounted for three fumbles in the contest, one of which he lost, which may have directly led to DeShone Kizer now supplanting him as Oakland's top backup.

Glennon completed four of seven pass attempts for 20 yards and rushed for no gain on two carries in Sunday's 34-3 loss to the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Glennon also fumbled three times, losing one to the Jets defense, after replacing starter Derek Carr during garbage time of a blowout defeat. Carr will look to get back on track in what should be a favorable matchup against the Chiefs, moving Glennon back to the bench.

Glennon completed two of three pass attempts for 36 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 42-24 loss to the Packers.
EDGE Analysis
As Green Bay ran away with a 42-17 lead late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's tilt, Raiders coach Jon Gruden elected to keep starter Derek Carr on the bench while Glennon was thrust into action for the first time this season. The 29-year-old vet rewarded Darren Waller owners with the tight end's second score of the contest just past the two-minute warning, but Carr will be back to lead the offense in Week 8 against Houston.

Glennon completed 9 of 13 pass attempts for 78 yards in Thursday's preseason finale against Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
Glennon controlled an otherwise stagnant Raiders offense for the first half of this contest. The veteran was unable to lead a touchdown drive, but he was able to protect the ball well and complete a high percentage of passes. Fellow backup Nate Peterman has been hot on Glennon's tail this preseason, but the latter is still considered the favorite to win the backup job behind Derek Carr, according to Scott Bair of NBC Sports Bay Area.

Glennon completed 17 of 25 pass attempts for 200 yards, with zero touchdowns and two interceptions during Saturday's 14-3 win against the Rams.
EDGE Analysis
Glennon seemed like a promising quarterback prospect during his rookie campaign out of NC State, posting a 4-9 record as the Buccaneers starter (team went 4-12 overall), but throwing for 200 passing yards per game with a respectable 19:9 TD:INT ratio. In 14 appearances since, Glennon has seen his TD:INT ratio dwindle to 16:11, while going 2-7 in nine starts for Tampa Bay and Chicago. He's transformed into somewhat of a journeyman after a three-year run in Tampa Bay to begin his career, now playing for his fourth different franchise since 2016. A few more turbulent outings like Saturday night, combined with Nathan Peterman continuing to show promise could prove to be factors that ensure he doesn't stick with the Raiders, either.

Glennon was signed by the Raiders on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The Raiders have targeted a 29-year-old veteran with starting experience in Glennon to serve as Derek Carr's backup, though Nathan Peterman also plans to fight for a roster spot throughout the offseason. Glennon completed 15 of 21 passes for 174 yards and a score in two games with the Cardinals last season, but his overall resume as a pro includes 22 career starts as well.
