Vick (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Vick unavailable, Landry Jones is thus in line to receive his first career NFL start Sunday, that is, if top QB Ben Roethlisberger (officially listed as questionable) misses his fourth consecutive game this weekend.

Vick suffered a small hamstring tear during Sunday's game against the Cardinals and is "at least a week away" from returning, NFL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vick's poor play Sunday was compounded by injury during the second half, forcing him out for the remainder of the game. With Landry Jones leading the Steelers to a comeback victory in his absence, Vick was unlikely to receive another start while Ben Roethlisberger (knee) remains sidelined, but given that Vick is also carrying a small hamstring tear, the veteran could very well be limited to a reserve role even when healthy again.

Vick completed 3-of-8 passes for 6 yards, adding 47 yards rushing on five carries in the Steelers' 25-13 win over the Cardinals on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Vick (hamstring) struggled in the first half against Arizona, before giving way to Landry Jones to start the third quarter. Since taking over for an injured Ben Roethlisberger (knee), Vick has completed 40-of-66 passes for 371 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. If Big Ben is unable to play in Week 7, it remains to be seen if Vick or Jones will make the start against Kansas City.

Vick left Sunday's game against the Cardinals with a hamstring injury.
EDGE Analysis
With Vick hobbled and Ben Roethlisberger still out, Landry Jones took over at QB for the Steelers on Sunday. Prior to his exit, Vick had completed 3 of 8 passes for six yards, while rushing five times for 47 yards.

Vick completed 13-of-26 passes for 203 yards, one touchdown and one interception, and rushed once for 24 yards in Monday night's win over the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Vick's passing totals were largely boosted by his 72-yard touchdown pass to Markus Wheaton during the fourth quarter, when the veteran also led the Steelers on a late game-winning drive. While Vick should be commended for his late-game contributions, the first three quarters of Monday night's game evidenced his inexperience in Pittsburgh's offense, as most his passes were check downs to underneath receivers. Vick's only interception came on a hail mary to end the first half, so to his credit, he managed to take care of the ball even despite his limitations elsewhere. If starter Ben Roethlisberger (knee) remains sidelined going forward, Vick figures to continue to fill in at quarterback in Week 6 against a playmaking Cardinals defense.

Vick completed 19 of 26 passes for 124 yards and a touchdown, adding nine carries for 33 yards, in Thursday's 23-20 overtime loss to the Ravens.
EDGE Analysis
Vick completed 73 percent of his passes and didn't turn the ball over, but it was still an ugly performance. He was largely responsible for at least two of his sacks, and he missed some very simple throws, including one on fourth down in overtime that didn't look like it could have come from an NFL quarterback. To be fair, Vick should've had a 36-yard touchdown pass earlier in the game, but Antonio Brown uncharacteristically dropped a sliding grab. As will likely be the case until Ben Roethlisberger (knee) returns, the Pittsburgh offense was incredibly reliant on Le'Veon Bell, who had 150 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 29 touches (seven receptions). Even with an excellent supporting cast and decent matchup, Vick will be tough to trust in a Week 5 road game against the Chargers. Given San Diego's early struggles against the run, Bell should be in for another busy night.

Vick completed 5-of-6 passes for 38 yards after coming on for Ben Roethlisberger in the third quarter Sunday against the Rams when he was knocked out with a knee injury.
EDGE Analysis
Roethlisberger had to be carted off the field and there is a big concern that he could miss a number of weeks due to the injury. If that's the case, Vick will be the starter for at least Week 4, which unfortunately for the Steelers will come Thursday against the Ravens. Vick still has plenty of weapons around him, namely receiver Antonio Brown and running back Le'Veon Bell, and he could get wideout Martavis Bryant back in Week 5, making him an decent fantasy option in most formats.

Vick will play in Pittsburgh's third preseason game against the Bills, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vick figures to see a solid chunk of playing time as the Steelers evaluate their newest acquisition. He should be the second quarterback out there, and it will be telling how Pittsburgh operates its playcalling with a player so different in skillset from starter Ben Roethlisberger.

Head coach Rex Ryan said Friday that he "anticipates" Geno Smith will be the Jets' starting quarterback for the final five games of the season, with Vick as the backup, the New York Daily News' Manish Mehta reports. Mehta's sources with the team indicate that the coaching staff would rather go with Vick, but the Jets' front office brass wants to further evaluate Smith over the final month of the season. Assuming Smith stays healthy, Vick will have little value in most leagues the rest of the way.

Vick (calf) will serve as the backup quarterback behind Geno Smith in Monday's game against the Jets. Vick was the favorite to hang onto the starting quarterback job for another week, but based on a report from Tuesday, either he will not be healthy enough to play Monday, or head coach Rex Ryan was overruled in his desire to keep Vick the starter. One way or another, Vick will back up Smith in Week 13.
