Colston had four catches on a team-high eight targets for 56 yards Sunday against the Bengals. Colston also led the Saints in receiving yards, though Kenny Stills, Travaris Cadet and Erik Lorig all finished with the same number of receptions, while Brandin Cooks finished with one more. Colston left the game briefly with an injury, but was able to come back in fairly quickly to post his highest receiving-yards total in the last four games. Up next is a Week 12 matchup against the Ravens on Monday Night Football, when Colston will look to score his first touchdown since Week 3.

Colston caught two passes on four targets for 36 yards in Sunday's loss to the 49ers. With Jimmy Graham (10 catches on 13 targets) and Brandin Cooks (five catches on eight targets) commanding the attention of Drew Brees, there was little left for Colston. It actually could have been much worse too, but he managed to squirm away on a short reception for 24 yards late in the fourth quarter. Up next is a favorable Week 11 matchup against a Bengals' defense that ranks 19th against the pass, but as long as the Saints have a healthy complement of pass catchers, particularly Graham, Colston will be a touchdown-dependent, boom-or-bust option in the Saints' spread-the-wealth attack.

Colston caught 3-of-3 targets for 36 yards in Thursday's 28-10 win over the Panthers. Colston's targets have been all over the map on a week-to-week basis this season, but his current average of six per game is about what can be expected going forward. Only a healthy Jimmy Graham seems to be ensured of consistent looks in the New Orleans offense, as some of the targets that used to go to Colston have been spread out to other players. Based on the per-target production, the Saints may even want to consider using a bit more Kenny Stills and a bit less of their 31-year-old mainstay.

Colston paced the Saints' receivers with 53 of 68 offensive snaps (78 percent), according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, and caught four passes on five targets for 49 yards in Sunday night's win against the Packers. While Colston spent much of the day being covered by shutdown cornerback Tramon Williams, Drew Brees attacked the other half of the field at will, connecting with Brandin Cooks and Kenny Stills a combined 10 times for 151 yards. Further, Jimmy Graham saw a bump in playing time (42 snaps), after being essentially a decoy last week against the Detroit, and saw more action on shorter and intermediate routes, a spot where Colston thrived last week. Colston will continue to see plenty of playing time and the Saints unleashing Cooks and Stills downfield could actually help open things up for him, but there are a lot of mouths to feed in the Saints' offense, so the days of consistent double-digit targets for Colston are likely over.

Colston had six catches on 10 targets for 111 yards Sunday against the Lions. With Jimmy Graham severely limited by a shoulder injury, Colston picked up the slack, tying his season-high in targets, while setting season-highs in receptions and receiving yards. It's been a pretty up-and-down season for Colston, who still only has one touchdown through six games. It doesn't get much easier, as the Saints will host a Packers defense in Week 8 that is ranked in the top-five in fewest passing yards allowed per game.

If Jimmy Graham is unable to play Sunday in Detroit, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com believes that the Saints will likely rely more heavily on Colston to replace Graham. While the Saints likely will not rely on a single player to replace all of Graham's production, Colston works the middle of the field and red zone in a fashion similar to Graham. Though he has had an up-and-down season thus far, Drew Brees still remains confident in him on crucial third downs, according to Triplett. As such, Colston could see an uptick in value if Graham is unable to suit up.

Colston caught three passes on six targets for 63 yards in Sunday's win against the Bucs. While reports of Colston's complete demise have been overstated, it's not unfair to expect more than three catches on six targets from Colston on a day where Drew Brees fired 57 passes. Colston continues to post some numbers each week, giving him a stable floor, but he's clearly been passed by Brandin Cooks (11 targets) on Drew Brees' list of preferred receiving options. Fantasy owners will have to look elsewhere in Week 6 with the Saints on bye.

Colston had five catches for 50 yards on 10 targets in Sunday's 38-17 loss to the Cowboys. Colston had a pair of bad drops, one of which was negated by a defensive penalty. While his 10 targets were second-best on the team to TE Jimmy Graham's 11, Colston still has just 23 targets through four games, compared to 30 for Brandin Cooks. Colston hasn't looked good this year, and while he still has a significant role in the offense, he seems to be headed for a second straight season with fewer than 1,000 receiving yards. He has a 12-185-1 receiving line through four games, putting him on pace for just 48-740-4.

Colston caught two passes on five targets for 25 yards, including an 18-yard touchdown reception, in Sunday's win against the Vikings. A week after he failed to catch a pass for the first time in 86 games, it was looking again like Colston could be shut out of the reception department before hauling in two late grabs, including the touchdown, to save the day for fantasy owners. Colston will surely have nice performances going forward but it's looking more like it's going to be difficult to trust the previously-reliable Colston on a weekly basis, with Jimmy Graham having clearly passed him in the receiving pecking order and Brandin Cooks - who has 18 receptions through three games - possibly having done so as well.

Colston failed to catch a pass in Sunday's loss in Cleveland, snapping an 86-game streak in which Colston has caught at least one ball in a game he played, reports the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Though he had a key drop and fumble in the Saints' season-opening loss in Atlanta, Colston managed an impressive 110 yards to kick off the season last week. Sunday's performance against the Browns, however, was a far cry from the type of performance the Saints and fantasy owners alike have grown accustomed to from Colston, as the last time he went without a catch was nearly six years ago. Drew Brees and the Saints have typically fared better at home than on the road, so after an 0-2 start to the season, there's still reason for optimism as the team returns home for the first time all year to host the Vikings in Week 3.
