Through three preseason contests, Moore has four receptions for 44 yards, playing sparingly with the rest of San Fransisco's first-team group.

The Niners essentially have nothing behind Vernon Davis, Anquan Boldin, and perhaps Vance McDonald in their pass-catching corps. The Dolphins want some of the above players back, but weren't willing to pay the cost of the lowest possible tender. Moore, 25, caught six passes for 116 yards and a touchdown last season.
