Kevin Walter was held to just six yards on one reception against the Bucs in Week 10. Walter was targeted just once on a day where Matt Schaub only threw the ball 15 times. He's not going to be a fantasy starter coming out of the Week 11 bye with Andre Johnson returning.

Kevin Walter (knee) participated in Texans practice Friday and will play in Sunday's game against the Browns. Cleveland has been awfully tough against the pass this season, so Walter will be only a low-end WR3 in Week 9. He has 27 targets in the last four games.

Kevin Walter was limited in Texans practice Thursday with a knee injury. Walter wasn't on the Texans' Wednesday injury report, so he was likely hurt in practice this afternoon. There haven't been any indications he'll miss Sunday's game against the Browns, but he'll definitely be someone to check in on tomorrow. He's Rotoworld's 52nd ranked receiver for Week 9.

Kevin Walter caught five passes for 70 yards in Sunday's win over the Jaguars. With Andre Johnson (hamstring) sidelined once again, Walter racked up a team-high nine targets. Over his last four games, he's averaging 4.7 catches for 59.5 yards with one touchdown. And as long as Johnson is sidelined, Walter will make for an unexciting WR3/4 option. However, the Texans' big-play shots go to Jacoby Jones, leaving Walter without much upside.

Kevin Walter was held to 35 yards on three targets against the Titans in Week 7. Walter outproduced Jacoby Jones, who had two receptions for 27 yards on the same number of targets (4). Neither receiver was a factor after the Texans jumped out to a 20-0 halftime lead. Walter can be dropped this week if Andre Johnson returns to practice by Wednesday.

Kevin Walter has 11 catches for 133 yards with a touchdown in the last two games. With Andre Johnson (hamstring) out at least another week, Walter remains the No. 1 wideout in Houston. He'll have solid WR3 appeal against a Titans defense that has given up nine passing touchdowns through five games.

Kevin Walter caught six passes for 52 yards in Sunday's loss to the Ravens. With the Texans missing Andre Johnson for the second straight game, Walter drew a season-high eight targets. All of his looks came on short-to-intermediate routes, and Walter never came close to breaking a big play on a day where the Texans rarely looked downfield. With Johnson likely to miss another game in Week 7, Walter will be a WR3 against the Jaguars.

Kevin Walter was held out of Thursday's practice with an undisclosed illness. Players don't often miss games due to a mid-week illness, so we still expect Walter to start against the Ravens this week. Check back on Friday for an update.

Even though Johnson didn't play for two and a half quarters, Walter saw just one ball thrown his way. With Johnson potentially out for Week 5, Walter will be Houston's No. 1 receiver, but may spend a majority of the game against up and coming shutdown CB Stanford Routt. He's a WR5 for fantasy purposes.
