Dixon carried the ball 12 times for 117 yards in Sunday's 26-24 win over the Browns. He also added one reception for two yards.
EDGE Analysis
Dixon split work evenly with Gus Edwards and posted his second-highest carry total of the season. However, it was by far his best yardage output, paced by four rushes of over 10 yards. As has become the story of his career, Dixon's season was derailed by a knee injury, though when he was on the field he performed admirably, averaging 5.6 yards per carry on 60 rushing attempts. He'll be entering the final year of his contract in 2019, and if he can remain healthy, he figures to maintain at least some role in the Ravens' backfield.

Dixon ran the ball eight times for 28 yards, adding 20 more yards on two receptions (three targets) in Saturday's 22-10 win over the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Dixon also lost a fumble, but it was otherwise a solid showing for the backup. Gus Edwards has clearly become the top rushing option out of the backfield for Baltimore, limiting Dixon's upside on a weekly basis. The latter has been averaging right around 10 touches over the past four weeks, creating some deep-league value (but nothing more) heading into Week 17's matchup with the Browns.

Dixon rushed 11 times for 48 yards and brought in his only target for two yards in the Ravens' 20-12 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Dixon saw a slight increase from the eight carries apiece he logged in the past two games, with Ty Montgomery's inactive status helping him lock in backup duties for the afternoon. Dixon continues to be efficient on a per-touch basis, and his workload could continue its upward trend against the Chargers in a Saturday night Week 16 matchup.

Dixon is the presumed clear-cut No. 2 running back behind Gus Edwards for Sunday's Week 15 tilt against the Buccaneers with Ty Montgomery (coach's decision) inactive for the contest.
EDGE Analysis
Dixon has impressed while taking 16 carries for 96 yards and a touchdown while adding two receptions for 27 yards. The second-year back won't have Montgomery to compete with for carries behind Gus Edwards, although Javorius Allen, who hasn't logged any snaps from scrimmage over the last pair of contests, will be in uniform as the presumed No. 3 running back.

Coach John Harbaugh said he expects Dixon's role to grow, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gus Edwards is doing solid work in the lead role with 4.8 yards per carry, but he only has one touchdown and one reception all season, with a long gain of 19 yards on 92 carries. Dixon has added an element of explosiveness in two games since his activation from injured reserve, taking 16 carries for 96 yards and a touchdown while adding two catches for 27 yards. With Ty Montgomery also getting some snaps -- especially on passing downs -- the Baltimore backfield is turning into a three-headed mess. Dixon might actually offer the best mix of skills, but there's no assurance regarding workload for Week 15 against Tampa Bay.

Dixon had eight carries for 59 yards and a touchdown with one catch for 21 yards on his lone target in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Gus Edwards once again led the way with 16 carries for 67 yards, but Dixon continued to make his case after gaining 37 yards on eight carries the previous week against Atlanta. Limited by injuries and suspension to this point in his career, Dixon is finally getting a chance to show why the Ravens keep giving him chances. Granted, his timeshare role will make it tough to produce on a consistent basis, with Ty Montgomery also getting backfield snaps in Baltimore. The Ravens do get a favorable Week 15 home matchup against Tampa Bay.

Dixon rushed for 37 yards on eight carries and added a six-yard catch in his return from injured-reserve, a 26-16 win over Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
Coming off of a knee injury, Dixon slid in for veteran Alex Collins (foot) who was placed on injured reserve this week. Rookie Gus Edwards is averaging 20 carries per game over the past three weeks and figures to be the lead back moving forward with Ty Montgomery serving as the pass-catcher and Dixon and Lamar Jackson adding to the ground attack. Next Sunday could be a good matchup for Dixon as the Chiefs are surrendering a sizable 5.0 yards per opponent carry. The key will be whether the Ravens keep the game close enough to be able to continue to rely on the run.

Dixon (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Falcons, one day after the Ravens activated him from injured reserve, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dixon, who was shut down with the injury after logging 44 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries in the season-opening win over the Bills, took the roster spot of Alex Collins (foot). Though Collins had served as the Ravens' running back for most of the season before landing on IR, Gus Edwards had supplanted him as the favored option out of the backfield alongside dual-threat quarterback Lamar Jackson. That's likely to remain the case with Dixon back in the fold, though the Louisiana Tech product could immediately push Ty Montgomery for No. 2 duties. Dixon, a 2016 fourth-round pick, offers the Ravens some additional versatility out of the backfield, as he possesses the speed to contribute as an outside-the-tackles runner and pass catcher and can absorb punishment inside thanks to his sturdy 5-foot-10, 212-pound frame.

Dixon (knee) was activated off injured reserve Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The Ravens opted to place Alex Collins (foot) on injured reserve Saturday, opening the door for Dixon to make his return after injuring his knee in the opening game of the season. It's worth noting that Dixon looked particularly promising during that contest, combining with quarterback Lamar Jackson on a number of devastating read-option plays during the second half when the game was already well out of reach. Still, given Dixon's prolonged absence and the emergence of Gus Edwards (ankle), it's unlikely the recently activated running back will see a number of carries instantly, and he might even be third on the pecking order behind Ty Montgomery, who combined for 64 total yards on 11 touches in a Week 12 win over the Raiders.

Dixon (knee) could be activated from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Falcons, Clifton Brown of the Ravens' official site reports. "[Dixon is] real close," coach John Harbaugh said Friday. "I think he's also an option for Sunday. We'll see if he's out there or not. We'd have to make the roster work as well."
EDGE Analysis
The Ravens' decision two weeks ago to use one of its two designated-to-return spots on Dixon was a curious one, given that the team already had four running backs on the roster. However, injuries have since hit the Baltimore backfield with both Alex Collins (foot) and Gus Edwards (ankle) listed as questionable for Sunday's contest. Edwards seems the likelier of the two to play, but if Collins is unavailable, it could prompt the Ravens to bring Dixon back into the mix. In such a scenario, Dixon would likely only draw light snaps as a change-of-pace option behind Edwards. Dixon might also rank as a lesser priority than Ty Montgomery, who showed some impressive skills as both a pass catcher (three receptions for 13 yards) and rusher (eight carries for 51 yards) while working as the top backup to Edwards in the Week 12 win over the Raiders.
